Gentlenook Terms of Service

These Terms explain how my services work and what you can expect when booking with Gentlenook Dog Walking & Pet Care.

Services Provided

• Dog walking (social and 1-to-1)
• Pet sitting
• Behaviour training (coming soon)

Full details and prices are listed on my website.

Bookings & Payments

• Bookings can be made via my website, email, or phone.
• Payments are taken through Square or bank transfer.
• Pre‑payment may be required for certain services.

Cancellations

• Please give at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
• Late cancellations may be charged at the full rate.

Pet Requirements

For the safety of all animals in my care:

• Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and flea/worm treatment.
• I must be informed of any behavioural issues or medical needs.
• I reserve the right to refuse a service if a pet poses a safety risk.

Keys & Home Access

If I need access to your home:

• Keys are stored securely and never labelled with your address.
• You may choose to use a key safe if preferred.

Liability

I am fully insured for dog walking and pet care services.
I cannot be held responsible for:

• Pre‑existing health conditions
• Damage caused by your pet in your home
• Issues arising from inaccurate information provided by the owner

Emergencies

If your pet requires urgent veterinary care, I will contact you immediately. If you cannot be reached, I may act in your pet’s best interest and take them to your registered vet.
